Political Ads = The Strongest Persuaders

Political advertisements allow the public to get a deeper insight to a candidate’s personality, values, priorities, and positions on political issues. It is different compared to commercial advertising because political ads have a bigger impact on people. This type of advertising is what convinces the public on who they choose to control our government. Therefore, it is definitely a larger influence on the viewers rather than a commercial advertising a hair product. After creating my own ad campaign I realized how much the tone of the advertisement could impact you. It has a very moving style and makes you want to believe in someone. I chose the small town aspect and after I finished making my ad, I really believed in it. I know that might sound silly but that is how much these types of advertisements can affect a person. These ads are meant to encourage some feelings of connection and get you to have faith in a candidate. I strongly believe that political ads are either the strongest persuaders on the American people or at least one of the strongest influencers on television and the public.
